Taylors growth – Our merge with Don Stizza & Associates and Astutus
Taylors, Don Stizza & Associates and Astutus merge to create a new Taylors subsidiary business Taylors Stizza, Civil Engineering & Project Management.
Many of you will think of Taylors as a business of Surveyors and Town Planners, in line with its traditional brand, however we have been working very hard and predominately over the last 5 years, we have completely re-engineered our business into so much more.
After experiencing rapid growth during the early 2000’s we resolved to focus on building our business systems, expertise and infrastructure. We built a stable platform for growth, and with good business governance, an energetic team of professionals and our client relationships first attitude, we have continued to find our growth of diversity, our geographic coverage and our number.
During the past 5 or 6 years we have grown building design guidelines assessment and Architecture services, and we have continuously evolved our Urban Design and recently commenced Landscape Architecture. All of these services now represent our business in their own right through our Built Environments or Urban Development businesses. We have also grown an infrastructure services business and very recently opened an office in Brisbane.
We offer our clients and our team members all the benefits of a large corporate organisation with the personality of a small business. Service is personal and it is focussed and we can achieve this because we are not one big business but three small businesses that focus entirely on the markets of Urban Development, Built Environments and infrastructure…..and today we announce that we become four.
Taylors Stizza has the foundation of the Taylors vision, passion and corporate management, the expertise of over 25 years Civil Engineering & development consulting through Don Stizza and Associates, and the fresh approach to Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Project Management from John Yalden of Astutus.
Together we are a very natural fit because we all absolutely embrace common core values of Relationships first, passion for our expertise and projects, and an attitude for delivering solutions in all of our work.
This new Taylors business adds a great new dimension and completes our package of integrated primary consulting services across our Urban Development and Built Environments businesses. It establishes us with another great platform to drive further growth into our infrastructure & Environmental Consulting and Project Management spaces. And, of course we will continue to seek to provide single or multiple services to any of our clients, whatever it takes to get the job done and the project delivered.
Next year we enter our 50th year and this is something of high significance to us because we are very proud of our history and what Taylors has achieved. And, speaking for the current Board, we feel considerable excitement to create an even better business than the one we started with. We have set up the challenge for the next few years and we look forward to it, in partnership with our people and our clients.
