The 320 ha site falls within the Melbourne 2030 Growth Area Plan for the Hume corridor. The coordination of all sub-consultants and liaison with the Hume City Council and the Growth Areas Authority was facilitated and managed by Taylors. With the land now rezoned, Taylors are involved in the preparation of the development plan, subdivision development and the approval process.
The Minister for Planning welcomed the development by stating ‘The rezoning of farmland to make way for a business park in Donnybrook, could bring up to 10,000 new jobs to the Hume area’ in a media release.
