Irrigation Scheme | Lake Wyangan
The Lake Wyangan Irrigation system has a command area of 27,000ha, with the irrigation area itself covering 12,831ha. Taylors were engaged by the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area Renewal Alliance to provide survey of over 70km of irrigation channels. The survey was conducted to enable the design of pipelines to replace existing channels, replacement and upgrade of regulators, new metered outlets, new and upgraded miscellaneous structures, concrete channel capacity upgrades and lining replacement throughout the Lake Wyangan Irrigation Area. Taylors deployed surveyors to this remote area of country NSW for a 14 week period to complete the field work aspects of the project. Survey data was sent back to Melbourne on a daily basis and all data processing was conducted at head office.
